Nash Colundalur is a London based writer, journalist, playwright, and screenwriter whose work explores political fracture, identity, and the private cost of public ideologies. He holds an MA in Creative Writing (distinction) from Bath Spa University, for which he received a scholarship. He won The Guardian International Development Journalism Award and the Hammond House Award for his play on the Partition of India, staged at the Omnibus Theatre in London, UK.
As part of the BBC Writers' Room, he was commissioned to write a radio play for BBC Radio 3 starring Pippa Haywood, and a BFI short film. Nash's short fiction appeared in the Kitaab Best Asian Short Stories 2022 anthology. He was shortlisted for the UK Audio Drama Awards, and twice for the Faber Children's Book Award. In 2024, he was awarded a Society of Authors writing grant, and in 2026 was a winner of the London Writers Awards in their literary fiction category.
